Yeti Cycles was founded in 1985 by John Parker in California, when mountain biking was gaining popularity. Parker was a welder who built movie sets in Hollywood, which transferred perfectly for his career of becoming a Yeti mountain bike designer and racer later.
In 2001, two Yeti employees, Steve Hoogendoorn and Chris Conroy, bought the company and relocated company headquarters to Golden, Colorado.
Yeti mountain bikes have patented multiple suspension systems they call ZeroLoss Technology or linear guide technology and more recently, Switch Technology, which is basically a dual-link design that utilizes an eccentric mechanism that switches direction as the bike moves through its travel.
It’s an honor to sell such premium bikes in Denver. The kind of innovation we see from Yeti mountain bikes in our local Denver bike shop is a true pleasure and something we’re very passionate about. Take a look at a few of the amazing Yeti mountain bikes we’re proud to feature!
Product Detail
This is what Yeti mountain bikes can do with short travel and switch infinity. It transcends the weight-weenie, uphill only models and replaces it with a precision riding bike. The SB100.
One bike can’t rule them all, but the SB130 is one bike that rules. Conceived on rowdy Colorado trails and fed a steady diet of technical climbing and high-speed descents, this bike crushes big terrain. We’re not suggesting you only need one bike, but if you did, this should be on your short list.
When you throw a leg over the all-new SB150, you’ll find it rides strikingly similar to nothing. It is difficult to put into a category. Some may say it’s too slack, too low, too long, too different. But riders who push this bike quickly become accustomed to their newfound capability.
When Yeti mountain bikers designed the B5 Beti, they made it to excel in the most demanding situations. Yeti’s female ambassadors are aggressive riders and wanted a lightweight bike that could handle the rigors of a long epic ride or even lift served access.
